The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has floated tender fot 200 MW of solar projects in Madhya Pradesh on behalf of state-owned group Coal India Ltd.
SECI in a statement said that  the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) tender is seeking contractors for two solar projects of 100 MW each that will be developed under the domestic content requirement (DCR) category for Coal India’s subsidiaries Northern Coalfields Ltd and Southeastern Coalfields Ltd. The facilities will be installed within the Neemuch-Mandsaur solar park.
Last date for submission of proposals is by November 13. Under the scope of the EPC contract, winning bidders will be responsible for the design, construction, equipment supply, commissioning and grid-connection of the solar parks. They will also provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for 10 years.
